For several years now, we have been asked to grant access to our genealogical database. One reason is that for 90 years and hundreds of professional genealogists have mistakenly connected five Dunham members having the same first and last names to the wrong descendants. Our John Dunham Society Historian has certified a Mayflower Society lineage, thus correcting through this past error, solving a mystery that began in 1759.
It is for that reason requests by professional genealogists (and all others) are given zero access to our private database. The database is proprietary property of the John Dunham Society. If you are a professional genealogists working for an individual who is a potential descendant of Deacon John Dunham, then please have them contact us directly by submitting either a Preliminary Review request (link shown below) or having them requesting a John Dunham Society Membership Application through our "Contact Us" page.
If you believe that you are a Deacon John Dunham descendant and are in the same quandary. Perhaps submit a Prelimary Review through the John Dunham Society. You can find our Preliminary Review form at: https://johndunhamsociety.com (Preliminary Review).
